Trio campano (ma Bolognesi di adozione) composto dai due fratelli napoletani Luigi e Feliciano Grella e dal batterista Cristiano Delfino. La peculiarità del gruppo sta nel sound marcatamente acustico (Luigi molto raramente imbraccia l'elettrica) ma non per questo necessariamente soffice e delicato, anzi, la loro scommessa sta proprio nell' esprimere forza ed energia senza abusare dell'elettrificazione e dell'amplificazione. Luigi, autore dei testi e della musica, è scrittore e poeta prima ancora che musicista e per questo le parole delle loro canzoni hanno spessore letterario anche prese in se stesse. Gli "Spacca il Silenzio!" affidano le "cose da dire" ad un impianto musicale semplice ma suggestivo: chitarra acustica, basso elettrico e batteria, che sanno dialogare fra loro attraversando con naturalezza e trasversalmente i linguaggi del pop, del jazz, del rap ma anche della canzone d?autore. Musica anche di forte impatto live, come hanno avuto modo di constatare gli spettatori dei loro concerti... Nel 2006 firmano il loro primo contratto discografico con la "NOPOP music development devices" di Guido Elmi, entrando così a far parte dell'antologia "BANDS a new adventure in Rock", distribuita da EMI Italia. Nel 2009 coproducono, sempre affiancati da Guido Elmi, "Extended Play 2009", che vede la partecipazione di Lucio Dalla al clarinetto. Nel frattempo prosegue intensa l'attività live, In Italia e sorprendentemente anche in Europa (dal 2007 racchiuse in sette differenti tournèe, Inghilterra, Olanda, Germania, Svizzera, Austria), dove il nome "Spacca il Silenzio!" comincia a circolare e da dove sono sempre arrivate riconferme per tour futuri.
