You're living in a lie, your tears, repentance fills your eyes
Your life is not what it seems to be
For you breed agony
Your tortured mind will cry out, take my soul
Die for me, die for my sins for I've seen
My cold and bitter end
Trapped illusions of your fate
Your end is only what you've made
Return and taste reality again
Your sudden faith is all in vain
Your withered voice is chanting
I'm impure
Die for me, die for my sins for I've seen
My cold and bitter end
Standing at the altar, hands in prayer
Your crystal image shatters despair
Suffering no one can help you now
Betrayed by your worn and tattered vows
You're living in a lie, your tears, repentance fills your eyes
Your life stands for nothing but your shame
No one else will bear your blame
My mortal life of anguish I've endured
Die for me, die for my sins for I've seen
My cold and bitter end
As you feel the lies hypocrisy chokes the life from you
Die for me, die only for me
Now ....... DIE
Sanctuary is a thrash/power metal band active since the 1980s. The original lineup included future Nevermore members Warrel Dane and Jim Sheppard, who would later shape the sound of that group. Sanctuary released two studio albums: the self-titled "Sanctuary" in 1986 and "Into the Mirror Black" in 1987, both considered milestones of American thrash metal. Their musical style is characterized by fast and aggressive riffs, power metal melodies and a strong progressive influence. Among the most representative songs are "The Serpent's Tongue", "Into the Mirror Black" and "Die for You". Despite the band's short lifespan, Sanctuary left an indelible mark on the heavy metal music scene.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
