Ebba Grön was a Swedish punk band formed in 1977. The original members were Joakim Thastrom (Pimme), Gunnar Ljungstedt (Gurra) and Lennart Eriksson (Fjodor). After the release of their second album in 1981, they were joined by a fourth member, Anders Sjoholm (Stry Terrarie). Considered one of the most influential bands of the Swedish punk scene, Ebba Grön helped define the aesthetics and music of the movement. Their lyrics often addressed social and political issues, with a strong focus on youthful disillusionment and criticism of the system. Among their most representative songs are "Svenska flaggor", "Kärlek är en våldsam sak" and "Jag vill ha det här nu". Ebba Grön released several successful albums, including "Ebba Grön" (1978) and "Det stora äventyret" (1981). The band disbanded in 1984, but their impact on Swedish music has remained significant.
