Cronico, pseudonimo di Fabio Parrottino, è un cantautore italiano nato a Maranise (Catanzaro). Inizia la sua carriera musicale nel 2001 partecipando al Festival di Napoli, dove si classifica secondo. Nel 2016 consegue la laurea in canto moderno presso il Politecnico Scientia et ars di Vibo Valentia. Nel 2018 pubblica il suo primo singolo "Tempesta" con lo produttore Stonhead, che gli apre le porte della scena musicale indipendente. Cronico continua a pubblicare musica, ottenendo sempre maggiore successo e riconoscimento nella scena indie italiana. Il brano "Autostrada", pubblicato in seguito, lo consacra come "Poeta Indie" sia dal pubblico che dalla critica, raggiungendo 200 mila streaming su Spotify in soli due mesi. Nel 2022 firma un contratto discografico con l'etichetta TRB rec di Andrea Tognassi - Music Publishing e pubblica il singolo "DIVIETI". Le sue canzoni esplorano temi come amore, solitudine, alcolismo e depressione, spesso contrapponendo melodie intricate a testi introspettivi. Cronico si distingue per uno stile musicale ricercato, influenzato da diverse sonorità indie pop, e per una personalità malinconica che emerge nelle sue performance.
