Picture this baby, see what I see
Yeah, it’s taken sometime but I believe
That right now child I want you bad
Can you feel it’s the way it should be
Now you’ve nowhere to hide away from me
And right now child you drive me mad
Midnight, taken a tumble
Inside with the walls breaking down
This time I feel the thunder
Lying in the middle of the love we’ve found
You could be the air that I breathe
I believe if we don’t try don’t cry
You can give me all that I need
Can you see if we won’t try don’t cry
Turn me round baby, take me down deep
Got that look in your eyes and I can see
That right now child no love is blind
Hold me close, babe, love is so real
I could never disguise the way I feel
And right now child you blow my mind
Midnight, taking me under
Inside. There’ll be no losing ground
This time, passion and wonder
Fighting just a little as you hold me down
You could be the air that I breathe
I believe if we don’t try don’t cry
You can give me all that I need
Can you see if we won’t try don’t cry
We can swim desire-like seas
Diving in if we don’t try don’t cry
Nothing dims this amber light scene
Take it in if we don’t try don’t cry
Ten is a British hard rock/AOR group founded by singer/keyboardist Gary Hughes. Hughes recruited guitarist Vinny Burns (Ultravox/Dare) and initially the band would have been called Hughes/Burns, but they changed the name into Ten. The lineup was completed by drummer Greg Morgan and bassist Martin 'Shelley' Shelton (both of them ex-Dare), guitarist John Halliwell and keyboardist Ged Ryland (both ex-Kage). In 2007 Hughes disbanded Ten, but in 2010 the band was reformed and the new album 'Stormwarning' is due in 2011. Some of their most representative songs include 'The Fire', 'You Can't Stop The Rain' and 'Love Is A Battlefield'.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
