Otis Rush (Chicago, April 29, 1934 – Chicago, September 29, 2018) was an American guitarist and singer-songwriter considered one of the greatest exponents of West Side Chicago blues. His guitar technique, characterized by a powerful and incisive sound, has influenced generations of musicians, including Mike Bloomfield, Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana. Rush began his career in the 1950s, recording his first album in 1960. Among his most famous songs are "Double Trouble", "I Can't Quit You Baby" and "All Your Love (I Miss Loving)." Throughout his long career, he has collaborated with numerous blues artists, including Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. In 1984, he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.
