I'll be your heartbeat, I'll be under your skin,
You'll be my saint, and I'll gladly be your sin,
Everything I've promised, will hold true,
If you have to hurt, I will hurt with you.
When we wake up, when we're no longer known,
When we make our peace with time,
For you, I'll stay alive.
We both know, my way is forever,
Just give me the reasons, and I will pen the letters.
Questioned or accused is this any way to live your life?
To only live and love, beneath fluorescent lights.
When we wake up, when we're no longer young,
When we wage our war on time,
For you, I'll stay alive,
For you, I'll stay alive.
When we wake up,
When we push our last breath from our lungs,
When we question why we're alive,
For you, I will try,
When we wake up, when we're no longer known,
When we make our peace with time,
For you, I'll stay alive,
For you, I'll stay alive,
For you, I'll stay alive,
For you, I'll stay alive.
E for Explosion is a musical group formed in 2005 from the ashes of the previous project JamisonParker. Frontman Jamison Covington, initially active as a solo artist under the names 'Dance With the Dead' and 'Covington', released several demos before adopting the name E for Explosion, inspired by the alliteration of Ray Bradbury's books. In 2007, during a tour, the band sold a self-produced EP titled 'Paper Flowers', printed in only one thousand copies and handmade. Their debut full-length album, 'Reinventing the Heartbeat', was released on May 20, 2008 with Eyeball Records. The album included the single 'I Explode', accompanied by a music video. On October 29, 2010, E for Explosion announced a new EP scheduled for release on November 23 of the same year. The current lineup of the group includes Jamison Covington and Dai Britain.
