Los Cafres sono un gruppo musicale argentino formatosi negli anni '90, considerati tra i primi a portare il reggae nel panorama musicale del paese. Il nome del gruppo deriva dalla parola araba "kafir", che significa "infedele". La loro musica è caratterizzata da un sound autentico e influenzato dal reggae giamaicano, con testi spesso incentrati su temi come dreadlocks e l'uso di cannabis. Il loro album di debutto, "Frecuencia Cafre" (1995), è stato in parte registrato presso gli storici Tuff Gong Studios di Kingston, Giamaica. Tra i loro album più noti figurano anche "Instinct", "It Sounds the Alarm" e "Small Mirrors". Nel 2003 hanno collaborato con il produttore remix Jim Fox per l'album "Instinct Dub", una raccolta di remix dei brani di "Instinct". Tra le canzoni più rappresentative del gruppo si possono citare "El Baile de los Kafres", "La Vida Es Un Sueño" e "No Te Preocupes".
