Engenheiros do Hawaii is a Brazilian rock band formed in Porto Alegre in 1985. Known for its ironic and critical style, characterized by lyrics rich in meaning and wordplay, the group achieved great popularity in Brazil. The vocalist and bassist Humberto Gessinger is the only original member still in the band today. Among the most representative songs are "A Paz", "O Tempo Não Para" and "Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar". The debut album, "Engenheiros do Hawaii", dates back to 1987.
