I Clan of Xymox, noti anche semplicemente come Xymox, sono un gruppo musicale darkwave/rock gotico fondato nel 1983 a Nijmegen, nei Paesi Bassi, da Ronny Moorings, Pieter Nooten e Anka Wolbert. La band ha contribuito in modo significativo alla nascita del genere darkwave negli anni '80, caratterizzato da atmosfere cupe, melodie sinfoniche e testi introspettivi. Ronny Moorings è l'unico membro originale rimasto nella formazione attuale. Nel corso degli anni, Xymox ha pubblicato una serie di album di successo, tra cui "Medusa" (1985), "Twist of Love" (1986) e "Age of Innocence" (1987).
