Urge Overkill is an alternative rock duo formed in Chicago in 1989. The group, composed of Nathan "Nash Kato" Kaatrud (vocals and guitar) and Eddie "King" Roeser (vocals, guitar and bass), achieved international success in the 1990s with their energetic sound and ironic lyrics. Their debut album, *The Age of TAINT*, released in 1990, marked the beginning of their rise.
