There was nothing to say the day she left
Just filled a suitcase full of regrets
I hailed a taxi in the rain
Looking for some place to ease the pain, ooh
Then like an answered prayer
I turned around and found you there
[Chorus]
You really know where to start
Fixing a broken heart
You really know what to do
Your emotional tools can cure any fool
Whose dreams have fallen apart
Fixing a broken heart
Now I don't understand what I'm going through
There must be a plan that led me to you
Because the hurt just disappears
In every moment that you are near, yeah
Just like an answered prayer
You made the loneliness easy to bear
[Repeat Chorus]
Soon the rain will stop falling baby
Let's forget the past
Cause here we are at last
[Repeat Chorus]
A1 is a British/Norwegian boy band formed in 1998. The group consisted of Mark Read, Paul Marazzi, Ben Adams and Christian Ingebrigtsen. Their debut single, "Be the First to Believe", entered the UK singles chart at number 6 in early 1999. They achieved relative success in the charts with two number-one hits and eight top 10 hits. In 2001 they won a BRIT Award for "British Breakthrough Act". The group was formed by music manager Tim Byrne, who also formed Steps. A1's journey came to an end when original member Paul Marazzi left in 2002 and the band subsequently decided to split. In August 2009 they announced their reformation, without Marazzi, for a series of concerts in Oslo in December 2009 at the Christiania Theatre. Since their comeback, they have already released two new singles, "Take You Home" and "Don't Wanna Lose You Again". Their new album was released in October 2010.
