Flow hp

Urba y Rome cocinando reggaetone'

Vengo, vengo, vengo, vengo, vengo, vengo

Biografia

Don Omar, real name William Omar Landrón (Puerto Rico, February 10, 1978), is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and actor. He began singing and writing songs at age 12, feeling very close to the reggaeton style, which began to develop in Puerto Rico in the early 1990s. His musical beginnings saw him as an actor in the Iglesia de la Restauración en Cristo en Bayamón, where he served as a pastor for four years; after a romantic relationship, he was forced to leave his vows. In 2002, William Omar Landrón's career took a significant turn when Tito El Bambino, of the duo Héctor y Tito, decided to help him. It was during this period that he adopted the stage name Don Omar and composed some pieces for other singers, including Tito himself. He always collaborated with the duo on Reconquista. He became one of the most well-known representatives of reggaeton alongside Daddy Yankee, and his albums became classics of the musical genre. Don Omar is known for his energetic and spectacular concerts, which have taken him to perform all over the world. Among his most famous songs are "Dale Don Dale", "Pobre Diabla" and "Dile", while among his most successful albums are "The Last Don" (2006) and "Don Omar Presents: Meet the Orphans" (2009).
