Don Omar, nome d'arte di William Omar Landrón (Porto Rico, 10 febbraio 1978), è un cantante, compositore e attore portoricano. Inizia a cantare e scrivere canzoni a 12 anni, sentendosi molto vicino allo stile del reggaeton, che comincia a svilupparsi a Porto Rico agli inizi degli anni novanta. I suoi albori musicali lo vedono protagonista nella Iglesia de la Restauración en Cristo en Bayamón, dove recita come pastore per quattro anni; in seguito ad una relazione sentimentale sarà costretto ad abbandonare i voti.
