The Rutles are a British rock music parody group formed in 1976 by comedian Eric Idle as a spoof of the Beatles. The band consists of: Dirk McQuickly (vocals, guitar), Ron Nasty (guitar), Stig O'Hara (bass) and Barry Wom (drums). Their songs were primarily composed by Neil Innes, who also played the role of the group's record producer. The Rutles have released three albums: "Rutles 1", "Can't Buy Me Lunch" and "Archaeology".
