Biografia

Andrea Testa (born in 1966 in the province of Milan) is an author of religious and secular songs, active for over thirty years. His passion for music led him to study guitar, electric bass, keyboard, flute and baritone horn. From a young age, he dedicates himself to animating young people in the parish of his hometown, Vanzago, becoming an animator and educator of groups of adolescents and young people. From 1986 to 1988, he performs civil service at the FOM - Fondazione Oratori Milanesi, strengthening his commitment to youth animation as a tool for transmitting Christian values. He participates in numerous meetings organized by Fimcap (International Federation of Catholic Action Movements) acquiring new techniques in the field of animation and religious singing. His songs, used in liturgical celebrations and in the repertoires of many parishes in Italy, range from pastoral, liturgical and animation themes. In 2012, during the meeting with the candidates for confirmation of the Diocese of Milan at the G. Meazza Stadium, his song "Sei Fuoco e Vento" is chosen to open the event. Currently, he continues to collaborate with the Fondazione Oratori Milanesi writing songs in support of the projects and themes proposed to the parishes.
