God Knows
Out of the pages of books that I read
I can recall that somewhere someone said
If you don't succeed
Try again
So I'm comin' to you with my heart in my hands
Usin' every ounce of strength I can
Don't turn me away
Listen what I've got to say
'cause I live and breathe you
God knows how much I need you
And I'll never leave you
God knows I love you
Too insecure as lovers we failed
The princess and the white knight lived in fairy tales
Or so that story goes
We read so right from the very start
Now here we are both with broken hearts
Let's not part this way
'cause I live and breathe you
God knows how much I need you
And I'll never leave you
God knows I love you
'cause time ran away
And took you by the hand
If I can't bring you back
Maybe, maybe time can
'cause I live and breathe you
God knows how much I need you
And I'll never leave you
God knows I love you
God knows I need you
God knows I want you
God knows I love you
Herman's Hermits are an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1963 as Herman and The Hermits. The group, led by manager and producer Mickie Most, adopted a clean-cut and non-threatening image, despite originally being oriented towards R and B. This approach contributed to Herman's Hermits' huge success in the mid-1960s, but limited their creativity, relegating the original songs of Noone, Hopwood, Leckenby and Green to B-sides and album tracks. The group reached the peak of their success with hits like "I'm Henry the Eighth, I Am", "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" and "Can't You See". Herman's Hermits continued to record and perform until the 1970s, maintaining a loyal fan base.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
