Pat Monahan (born Patrick Timon Monahan) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, best known as the frontman of the rock band Train. Born in San Francisco, California, in 1970, Monahan began his musical career at the age of 16. In 1993, he founded Train with Rob Hotchkiss, Jimmy Stafford, and Scott Underwood.
