S Club 8 were a British pop group formed in 2000 as a spin-off from the successful band S Club 7. The group consisted of Aaron Hicklin, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett and Paul Cattermole (who had already left S Club 7). Their music primarily focused on pop dance, with influences of R and B and eurodance. They released two studio albums: "S Club 8" (2000) and "Seeing Double" (2001), both achieving moderate commercial success in the United Kingdom. Among their most notable songs are "One Step Closer", "Say Goodbye", and "New Direction". After the release of their second album, the group announced their disbandment in 2003.
