Stealers Wheel was a Scottish rock band formed in Paisley in 1972 by Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty, two childhood friends. Their international success came with their self-titled debut album in 1973, which included the single "Stuck in the Middle with You", an enduring classic thanks to its appearance in the film "Reservoir Dogs". The band released two more successful albums, "Ferguslie Park" (1974) and "Right or Wrong" (1975), before disbanding in 1976. Egan and Rafferty continued their musical careers independently, with Rafferty achieving solo success with songs like "Baker Street". Stealers Wheel is remembered for its folk-rock music characterized by catchy melodies and poetic lyrics.
