Biografia

Baby Rasta is a Puerto Rican rapper known for contributing to the spread of reggaeton in the 1990s. Born as **Rasel Rodríguez**, he began his musical career in the early 1990s collaborating with several local artists. In 1998, he formed the duo **Baby Rasta and Gringo**, which achieved great success with albums like *La Ultima Risa* (2000) and *The Comeback* (2003). Their musical style, characterized by fast rhythms, provocative lyrics, and Latin influences, helped define the evolution of reggaeton. Among Baby Rasta and Gringo's most famous songs are *“La Ultima Risa”*, *“El Mismo Sol”*, and *“No Te Dejes Aburrir”*. After the duo split, Baby Rasta continued to release music as a solo artist, maintaining a loyal following in Latin America.
