Dr. Feelgood è una rock band britannica formatasi a metà degli anni '70. Il nome del gruppo, slang per eroina o per medici disposti a prescrivere eccessivamente farmaci, deriva dal bluesman americano Willie Perryman (conosciuto anche come "Piano Red") che nel 1962 registrò la canzone "Dr Feel-Good" con il suo gruppo "Dr Feelgood and The Interns". La canzone fu poi reinterpretata da diverse band beat britanniche, tra cui Johnny Kidd and The Pirates, che la usarono come lato B di uno dei loro singoli.
