Leæther Strip è un progetto musicale danese fondato il 13 gennaio 1988 da Claus Larsen. Il suo impatto si è fatto sentire principalmente nei generi elettronica body music ed electro-industrial. Forse, in una certa misura, potrebbe aver influenzato diverse produzioni di colonne sonore cinematografiche. Leæther Strip è stato uno dei primi e più importanti artisti dell'etichetta discografica tedesca Zoth Ommog, ora defunta. Per la distribuzione al di fuori dell'Europa, la musica è stata licenziata alle etichette americane Cleopatra Records e Metropolis Records. Dopo la scomparsa di Zoth Ommog nel 1999, Larsen ha firmato con Bloodline Records, suo successore non ufficiale, che ha rilasciato un singolo prima di chiudere anche essa. Dal 2005, Leæther Strip è sotto contratto con l'etichetta belga Alfa Matrix. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare "The Last Day", "Skin" e "Love Is A Lie".
