The Delgados were a Scottish indie rock band formed in Motherwell in 1994. Comprised of Emma Pollock (vocals, guitar), Stuart McAlpine Fidler (guitar, vocals), Alasdair MacLean (bass) and Paul Harkin (drums), they achieved a certain popularity in the 1990s and early 2000s with a sound characterized by catchy melodies, introspective lyrics and refined arrangements.
