Nino Buonocore, born Adelmo Buonocore, is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Naples in 1948. He is considered one of the main exponents of contemporary Neapolitan song. His music is characterized by catchy melodies, poetic lyrics and a strong vein of melancholy. He has collaborated with artists such as Pino Daniele and Enzo Avitabile. Among his most famous songs are "Azzurro", "Napule è" and "La canzone del sole".
