Dinah Shore, stage name of Frances Rose Shore (Winchester, February 29, 1916 – Beverly Hills, February 24, 1994), was an American singer, actress, and television personality. Considered one of the most beloved voices of the Big Band era, between the 1940s and 1950s, she achieved fame thanks to her warm and melodious voice, her charisma, and her ability to interpret romantic and popular songs with great sensitivity. ????
