Kitty Kallen (born May 25, 1922) is an American popular singer who sang with a number of big bands in the 1940s, coming back in the 1950s to score her biggest hit, "Little Things Mean a Lot" in 1954. Her musical career developed mainly in the United States, where she gained a following of fans thanks to her warm voice and stage charisma. Kallen collaborated with important orchestras of the time, such as Benny Goodman's, contributing to defining the sound of swing music in the 1940s. In 1954, "Little Things Mean a Lot" gave her an international success, becoming one of the most popular songs of the decade.
