Last car 2 train
Burning from the rage
Manhattan makes and Brooklyn takes
A lonely Desert Eagle
Waiting for his prey
To blow another sucker away
On your feet or on your knees
In the presence of a new god
Let me see you raise a hand
In the presence of a new god
The priests love the little boys
Playing with their toys
Now they both got a story to sell
There's too much understanding
From cowards on the run
I can serve in heaven
Cause I reigned in hell
On your feet or on your knees
In the presence of a new god
Let me see ya raise a hand
In the presence of a new god
Lock and load
On your feet or on your knees
In the presence of a new god
Let me see ya raise a hand
In the presence of a new god
The Dictators are an American punk rock band formed in New York City in the late 1960s. Considered one of the most influential bands of the proto-punk movement, they helped define the aesthetics and music of this genre with their aggressive sound, catchy melodies, and provocative lyrics. The group was led by the charismatic figure of Handsome Dick Manitoba (vocals) and Ross the Boss (guitar), who carried forward a theatrical image and an energetic performance on stage. Among their most notable albums are *Every Day Is Saturday* (1976), *Go Girl Crazy!*, *Manifest Destiny* (1978) and *D.F.F.D.* (1980). The Dictators have influenced numerous subsequent punk and hard rock bands, contributing to the spread of the New York underground culture worldwide. Some of their most representative songs include "Master Race Rock", "The Dictator's Theme" and "Bunker Buster".
