Yoko Kanno is a Japanese composer of music for film and anime, born in Tokyo in 1963. Considered one of the most influential figures in contemporary animation music, Kanno stands out for her ability to create evocative atmospheres and memorable melodies that often incorporate elements of jazz, electronica, and world music.
