Ice Mc is a British rapper of Jamaican origin, born as Ian Campbell Esquire. His stage name derives from the initials of his full name, which he later discovered to be an acronym. Growing up in Nottingham, he began his artistic career in the world of breakdancing in the 1980s, performing throughout Europe with a group of dancers. In 1989, during a visit to Italy, he met music producer Roberto Zanetti, who offered him the opportunity to release his first singles. His debut came with the single "Easy", a hip house track that topped European charts, reaching the top5 in Italy and the top3 in Germany. In 1990, followed the successes "Cinema" and "Scream", accompanied by the album "Cinema", which consolidated his commercial success.
