Benny Goodman (1909-1986) è stato un clarinettista, compositore e bandleader statunitense considerato uno dei pionieri del jazz moderno. Nato a Chicago da una famiglia ebrea, Goodman iniziò a suonare il clarinetto all'età di sette anni.
