(Roch Voisine/James Campbell)
Paddle in hand
She knows where she stands
Where wild nature cares
Her feet in the sand
Or in high heels she can
Dance away the wildest bear
She knows where the hummingbird
Sleeps at night
She knows about the Mujanadins
She knows about inflation
She's very bright, no question
And everywhere she's already been
Jamie's girl
For her he's searched the whole wide world
When found, he'd lose her again
Jamie's girl
One day he says "I'll catch that bird
Somehow, someday!... But when?"
Paddle in hand
You know where she stands
The kind of girl that smiles with her eyes
Pie in the sky
She dreams of a guy
Who'll love her 'till the day that she dies
She could ride on a broom
Or sing to the moon
Enough to keep him up all night
Don't worry about Jamie
I know it sounds silly
But Jamie's just doing alright
Jamie's girl
For her he's searched the whole wide world
When found, he'd lose her again
Jamie's girl
One day he says "I'll catch that bird
Somehow, someday!... But when?"
Someday but when?
Someday but when?
Jamie's just doing alright
