The Band was a Canadian-American rock group formed in Toronto in 1967 and disbanded in 1976, before reuniting in 1983 until 1999. The original lineup consisted of Robbie Robertson (guitar), Richard Manuel, Garth Hudson, Rick Danko, and Levon Helm.
