Sir Elton Hercules John, born Reginald Kenneth Dwight on March 25, 1947, in Pinner, Middlesex, England, is one of the most influential and recognizable musicians in the world. In 1962 he changed his name to Elton John and started his musical career as a keyboardist for various artists, including Bluesology.
