Don Dixon è un musicista, produttore discografico e compositore statunitense nato a 1953. Noto per il suo lavoro con artisti come R.E.M., The Smithereens e Los Lobos, Dixon ha contribuito a definire l'indi-rock degli anni '80. Inizia la sua carriera negli anni '70 suonando in band locali prima di trasferirsi a New York nel 1979.
