De l'eau dormante ou des rapides.
Souvent il fallait mettre au sec
Pour calfater, remâter ou recoudre
Et faire de longues escales pour remplir les cales
Plus d'une fois même il fallut changer d'équipage.
Un jour, un jour de joyeux beau temps
Les deux bateaux arrivèrent au confluent
Où les deux rivières brassent leurs eaux
Ils décidèrent de s'unir en un seul navire
Baptisé Kemper.
Harpe dressé à l'étrave
Poussé par le souffle de la musique
Animé par le verbe des Celtes
Guidés par un albatros fou
Kemper s'avance vers les îles
Où la mer embrasse le soleil.
