I am nothing if not a show horse and I will move to display my wares
and I will move to show you what I've got
Fling my head back fling my head back and buck and kick
Now work it
See me arch my back as I pull my lips in a sneer
As foam spits forth from here As foam spits forth from here
And pelted...and pelted by some others
And you'll send me to the factory when you tire of me
when you no longer love me when you no longer love me
And I will laugh with eyes wide
Now work it
See me flail my tail and toss my head As sweat drips off my neck
Show horse now, more than ever
Use my bones to stick your pages together
A torso, a torso, a twisted torso
Muscular sculpture and nothing more
so I will fling my head back fling my head back and buck and kick
The Horrors are a British rock band formed in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The group consists of Faris Badwan (vocals), Joshua Von Grimm (guitar), Spider Webb (organ), Tomethy Furse (bass) and Coffin Joe (drums). They debuted in 2005 with the EP "The Horrors". Their sound, difficult to categorize into a single genre, is often described as garage punk with noise rock influences. The Horrors draw inspiration from classic garage rock, particularly the Fuzztones, but also share affinities with punk bands like the Misfits and the Ramones (as evidenced by their single "Sheena Is a Parasite", an homage to "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker"). Among their most important albums are "Primary Colours" (2009) and "Skying" (2011), both critically acclaimed. The band has continued to release music in subsequent years, exploring new musical territories and solidifying their position as one of the most innovative bands in the British indie scene.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
