The Stranglers are a British rock band formed in Guildford in 1974. The founding members were Hugh Cornwell (guitar, vocals), Jet Black (drums), Jean-Jacques Burnel (bass) and Hans Warmling (keyboards, guitar). The Stranglers achieved great success in the 1970s and 1980s with songs like "Golden Brown", "Always the Sun" and "No More Heroes".
