Dopo esser stato il batterista dei Julie's Haircut e il leader dei Joe Leaman, ho iniziato a suonare in perfetta solitudine nel 2006. Ho pubblicato un album chiamato "Close your eyes, think about beauty" per la Black Candy Records di Firenze, poi (sempre per loro) un album insieme ai Mosquitos (una geniale band di Frosinone) chiamato "In Love" e, sempre per loro, un 7 pollici dove io e Chris Eckman (si, quello dei Walkabouts. Siamo amici, ogni tanto capita che suoniamo pure insieme) ci scambiavamo una cover. Poi mi son detto che era ora di cominciare a cantare in italiano, perché avevo ormai raggiunto "L?età della ragione". E proprio quello è stato il titolo del mio primo album in italiano, nel Marzo 2009. Ha vinto anche il Premio Italiano Musica Indipendente 2009 come "Miglior album autoprodotto" perché io mi autoproduco (Il perché lo potete leggere nella sezione chiamata "PERCHE?" che da queste parti abbiam quella fantasia lì). Nel febbraio 2010 ho poi fatto uscire un altro album, questo anche su vinile. Si chiama "Chi ha rubato le strade ai bambini?". A Luglio del 2011, dopo alcuni problemi di salute (perché a me quando le cose mi van bene dopo mi vien sempre qualcosa, per controbilanciare) ho pubblicato un altro disco chiamato "I SONNAMBULI". Nel corso di una decorosa esistenza, ho avuto l?onore di sputacchiare insieme nello stesso microfono con persone del calibro di: Chris Eckman, i Walkabouts, i Giant Sand, J Mascis, i Califone, i Fairport Convention, Katamine, i Dianogah, i Modena City Ramblers, Nada, solo per dire quelli molto più famosi di me (o americani, che anche se non son più famosi fa figo lo stesso). Oppure Offlaga Disco Pax, Le Luci Centrale Elettrica, Dente, Baustelle, Giardini di Mirò, Zen Circus, Alessandro Fiori? per dire quelli che magari hanno cominciato dopo di me ma son poi diventati più famosi di me lo stesso. Ma non mi lamento mica, sia chiaro. Era per fare un poco di spirito, che altrimenti ci veniva una di quelle biografie seriose che sembra che tu sia chissà che cosa, che poi uno pensa "io questo qui non lo conosco" e si sente anche un poco uno stupido.
