Ruggero Ricci (Lugo, February 13, 1989) is an Italian singer-songwriter, musician, and teacher. From a young age, he showed a passion for music, particularly drawn to soul and R and B, which led him to develop a melodic pop sound. Influenced by artists like Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday, and James Brown, he began his career as a songwriter for other artists and as a vocal coach. He participated in numerous musical competitions, including Sanremo Music Awards (2013, winner of the Futura Award as Best Songwriter of the Year), X Factor Italia (2013), Casa Sanremo (2014) and Area Sanremo (2014 and 2015). In 2014, he released his first official album, "Contrasti", followed by an international tour that took him to cities like London. In 2018, he released his second album, "La forma delle nuove", achieving great radio success and organizing a successful instore tour. Among his most notable songs are "Tsunami", "Le persone non parlano" (in collaboration with Speed) and the musical prayer "Basterà l'amore". Ricci is known for his refined songwriting, sensitivity, and the warmth he conveys in his songs.
