Australian Crawl was an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1978. The founding members were James Reyne (lead vocals/piano), Brad Robinson (rhythm guitar), Paul Williams (bass guitar), Simon Binks (lead guitar) and David Reyne (drums). David Reyne left the group early to be replaced by Bill McDonough (drums, percussion). His brother Guy McDonough (vocals, rhythm guitar) also joined later. The band achieved fame in the 1980s with hits like "Reckless", "Hooligans" and "The Boys Light Up". Their songs often dealt with everyday life themes, such as love, youth and friendships, but they didn't shy away from tackling deeper social issues either. Brad Robinson, the founding guitarist of the group, died two weeks after the Australian Hall of Fame induction due to lymphoma.
