Foje è stata una delle rock band lituane più di successo e conosciute. Formatasi nel 1983 all'Antakalnis Secondary School di Vilnius da Andrius Mamontovas, Arnoldas Lukosius e Darius Tarasevicius con il nome "Sunki Muzika" (letteralmente "musica pesante"), il gruppo vide l'ingresso di Algis Krisciunas pochi mesi dopo. Nel 1984 il nome fu cambiato in Foje (letteralmente "foyer"). Nel corso degli anni, la band ha affrontato diverse modifiche nella formazione e ha pubblicato oltre dieci album. Nel 1997, Foje si è sciolta con tre concerti sold-out nelle città lituane di Klaipeda, Kaunas e Vilnius, culminando in un evento finale a Vingis Park di Vilnius il 17 maggio con una folla di 60.000 persone.
