Yves Montand, pseudonimo di Ivo Livi (Marsiglia, 13 ottobre 1921 – Parigi, 9 novembre 1991), è stato un cantante e attore italiano naturalizzato francese. Considerato uno dei più grandi interpreti della chanson francese del XX secolo, Montand ha saputo coniugare la potenza vocale con una profonda sensibilità interpretativa. La sua carriera, iniziata negli anni '40 in Francia, lo ha visto collaborare con alcuni dei nomi più importanti della musica e del cinema francese, tra cui Charles Aznavour, Edith Piaf e Jean-Luc Godard. Tra i suoi brani più celebri figurano "Les Feuilles Mortes", "La Vie en Rose" (cover di Édith Piaf) e "Le Chant des Partisans". Montand ha interpretato anche numerosi film, ottenendo riconoscimenti internazionali per la sua interpretazione in "Il cielo è rosso" (1964), diretto da Jean-Luc Godard.
