Michael Kelland John Hutchence (January 12, 1960 – November 22, 1997) was an Australian singer and musician, best known as the frontman of the rock band INXS. Born in Hong Kong to Australian parents, Hutchence spent his childhood in Australia. In 1977, he formed INXS with his childhood friends, achieving international success in the 1980s and 1990s. His powerful and charismatic voice, combined with his magnetic charm and intense stage presence, made him one of the most iconic rock frontmen worldwide. INXS sold over 50 million records globally, with albums like *Kick* (1987) and *X* (1990) topping global charts. Hutchence also collaborated with artists such as Kylie Minogue and Bono of U2. His personal life was often marked by ups and downs, including tumultuous relationships and struggles with depression. On November 22, 1997, at the age of 37, Hutchence died in tragic circumstances in Sydney. His untimely death left a void in the music world and sparked deep mourning among his fans.
