Liers In Wait sono stati una band di death metal proveniente da Göteborg, Svezia, attiva tra il 1990 e il 1995. Considerati uno dei pilastri della scena death metal svedese degli anni '90, la band ha contribuito a definire l'estetica sonora caratterizzata da riff pesanti, blast beat veloci e testi oscuri tipici del genere. Nonostante la breve durata attiva, Liers In Wait hanno lasciato un segno indelebile nella storia del death metal, influenzando numerose band successive.
