Luna Sea is a Japanese rock band formed in Tokyo in 1989. The founding members are Ryuichi Kawamura (vocals), Yasuhiro "Sugizo" Sugihara (guitar), Shinobu "Inoran" Inoue (guitar), Jun "J." Onose (bass) and Shinya Yamada (drums). This lineup remained unchanged until the band's disbandment in 2000. Among their most representative songs are "Rosier", "Gravity" and "Time is Money". In 2018 Luna Sea announced its return with a new album and world tour.
