Lost direction

I'm on the train again
Past the point I've been past
A thousand times
Watching the silver tracks
I can't ignore the cracks
I find in my mind

But all I really need is you...

I go back many years
And visit all the tears
That pushed me down this road
I look at all the crossings
That leave me left to wander with a
A heavy load

All the people I could have been
And past the places I should have seen

But all I really need is...
Yeah, all I really need is...

There must be more to life
There must be more to try
I'm running, yes, I'm running
But I've lost direction

There must be more to life
There must be more to try
I'm running, yes, I'm running
But I've lost direction

(harmonica break)

All these places and trains to give
With time and rhythm and ways to live

I wish that there were words that I could say
But poetry keeps getting in the way
To let you feel how I felt with that kiss
But the best that I can do is just sing this?
The best that I can do is just sing this...

(harmonica break)

But all I really need is you...

There must be more to life
There must be more to try
I'm running, yes, I'm running
But I've lost direction

There must be more to life
There must be more to try
I'm running, yes, I'm running
But I've lost direction

There must be more to life
There must be more to try
I'm running, yes, I'm running
But I've lost direction
