Biografia

Rivers Cuomo is the frontman and primary songwriter for the rock band Weezer, active since 1992. Born in New York in 1970, Cuomo spent his childhood in Japan before moving to California. Influenced by bands like The Beatles, Queen, and Pixies, Cuomo founded Weezer with Matt Sharp, Patrick Wilson, and Jason Cropper. Their self-titled debut album in 1994 became a success thanks to songs like "Buddy Holly" and "Say It Ain't So". Cuomo is known for his catchy melodies, introspective lyrics, and his shy but charismatic personality. Weezer has released numerous successful albums over the years, including "Pinkerton" (1996), "Green Album" (2001), and "Red Album" (2008). Cuomo is also a prolific musician who has collaborated with artists like The Rentals and Elliott Smith.
