A masquerade you walk in the moonlight
Don't like the shade you live with the sea tide
You look like Nostradamus, although you're not as famous
Your pass is fast and nervous
You can't stop
Lunatic and aristocratic
There you go
Lunatic and your eyes are magic
Lunatic and aristocratic
There you go
Lunatic and the strange is logic
You take a chance two fiche on red nine
Lets have a dance, yes darling, next time
Youre no Casanova
Youre just a lonely number
Youre I'll with sexomania
You can't stop
Lunatic and aristocratic
There you go
Lunatic and your eyes are magic
Lunatic and aristocratic
There you go
Lunatic and the strange is logic
Paul Mazzolini, known as Gazebo, was born in Beirut on February 18, 1960. His childhood was marked by a nomadic existence, traveling between different cultures and languages, which deeply influenced his artistic vision. After living in various countries, he returned to Italy in 1974 to complete his studies. He then spent two years in London, where he began forming bands and defining his musical path. Returning to Rome in 1981, he met Paolo Micioni, a former DJ looking for new talents. Together they embarked on the adventure of independent production. Their first song, "Masterpiece", quickly became popular in discos and, thanks to Baby Records, reached dance charts worldwide. In 1983, with the single "I Like Chopin", Gazebo achieved international success, topping the charts in numerous countries including Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Portugal, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Turkey, Mexico and Brazil. The song sold over eight million copies between 1983 and 1984. Success followed with "Lunatic", consolidating his album "Gazebo" as a true bestseller, awarded the Vela D'oro and the title of Top European Chart Act 1983 by the English magazine Music Week, surpassing artists like The Police and Culture Club. In 1984, Gazebo released his second album "Telephone Mama", which was warmly received despite its stylistic diversity. However, military service temporarily interrupted his musical career. In 1986, after completing his service, "Univision" was released, marking a shift towards pop. The following year, Gazebo published "The Rainbow Tales", co-produced with Denis Haines, former keyboardist of Gary Numan's Tubeway Army. In 1989, the album "Sweet Life" included his version of "Dolce Vita", a song co-written by Gazebo and brought to success by Ryan Paris in 1983. In 1992, Paul released "Scenes from the News Broadcast", an LP where he played, wrote, arranged and produced all the tracks. The 1990s were dedicated to music production and the creation of Softworks, a company owning his catalog. In 1994, "Portrait", a collection of his hits, was released, followed in 1997 by "Viewpoint", a more introspective album. In 2000, the box set "Portrait of Gazebo" was published.
