Biografia

Claude François (Paris, February 1, 1939 – Paris, March 11, 1978) was a French pop singer and songwriter. Considered one of the greatest French artists of the 20th century, he sold over 100 million records worldwide. François began his career in the 1950s, achieving success with songs like "Ce soir je ne dors pas" and "Le Jardin d'hiver". In 1967, he wrote "Comme d'habitude", a song that became a major international hit when Frank Sinatra reinterpreted it as "My Way". François was known for his energetic performance style, his flamboyant outfits, and his ability to engage the audience. Some of his most famous songs include "Alexandrie Alexandra", "Je t'aime... moi non plus" (in collaboration with Jane Birkin) and "Si j'étais un homme". His untimely death at the age of 39 left a void in the world of French music.
